Duravit AG enjoys substantial revenue growth in 2019, successfully positioning itself nationally and internationally
In 2019,
the designer bathroom manufacturer was able to continue the growth trend of
previous years with new records in terms of revenue, operating result, and net
income. Despite low global economic growth, the Group’s total revenues were up
by 4.8% (€486.8 million) at year end. The company with a workforce of 6,200 can
thus position itself successfully worldwide.
The perfect
combination of technology and design has proven as drivers of growth. The
introduction of a new SensoWash® generation produced especially dynamic growth
in the shower-toilet segment. The SensoWash® Starck f combines iconic design
with maximum comfort and was met with an immediate and lasting positive
response.
Duravit
also enjoyed gains in other product areas. Two new high-end series developed in
collaboration with sieger design again raised the bar for exclusive bathroom
design. The faucet business did extremely well and the sanitary ceramics
business was also up.
